Must admit to a slight disappointment about the supposed snow storm which never quite reached New York. Maybe it’s the kid in me, or my overactive imagination, but just the words snow storm induce images of igloos and snow mobiles and Inuits in fur trimmed coats. There’s something so exciting and wild and adventurous about experiencing a snow storm. Not so much a battle against the natural elements but a survival and synthesis with what is uncontrollable.

Confession: I hate the cold, but being in the middle of a snow storm is something altogether different. The tumultuous winds and frigid air inform me I exist, that this is real and worth the struggle.

So yes I am oh so slightly disappointed of being deprived of that. To make amends, I found a few worthy images.
